Bottom Line | New York | |
Not to be outdone by Flo & Eddie, who'd had Lou Reed and Patti Smith up on stage on the previous nights, the band invited the Flying Burrito Bros to join them for "Six Days On The Road" and "Truck Drivin' Man" |

Tony Poole and Pete Frame stayed on in Connecticut to catch Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue in Hartford on the 24th - courtesy of Columbia's David Demers. Wackford and Whitmore flew directly back to England, while McGeeney headed west to California, for Gene Parsons to fit a Parsons-White Stringbender to his Telecaster. The fragmentation was symbolic, as on his return he departed and Roger Kelly was drafted in on guitar. |
